AI Regulation: What We See Today, We’ll Understand Tomorrow

First glimpse of AI regulation from the Biden administration, I wish I would be that active at his age 😉
1) Watermarking and labeling AI based creations – The how is still unknown.
2) Call for NIST to provide standards to test models before launching (good luck with that).
3) All companies which develop models above a certain size should share the results of the unspecified NIST tests per the Defenece Production Act – Another relic from the Covid-19 pandemic that is being used.

I wonder what regulation would follow once Quantum computing will render common encryption protocols useless.

We’ll just wait and see what we’ve seen.
